Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

The reduction in the volume of my posts on this topic isn't because I've gone into retirement. It has never been my intention to spot and highlight every fraudulent advert and I have concentrated on the large scale organised scammers. As regards individual scams buyers should follow the advice on the website.

I had noticed recently that Autotrader UK were acting much more effectively against fraudsters, operating 24/7 and managing to remove adverts before I had time to post them up. Nothing will put off the scammers more than seeing their operations turned to dust, as it takes some effort on their part to set up the adverts.

Congratulations to Autotrader UK, but I'll still be keeping an eye on their site and I'll have more time to work on other sites where it's known that the scammers operate.

CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle
