Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

I have been spotting and posting details of fraudulent adverts on Autotrader UK in great numbers daily and to attempt to thwart me the criminals have been obscuring vehicle registration details by crudely photo-hacking the pictures.

It's obviously a lot easier for a buyer to be defrauded if he doesn't know the identification of the vehicle he is supposed to be buying and it is more difficult to perform a valid HPI check.

Therefore don't touch adverts with obscured registration details.

Examples.

As the scammer blitzes adverts, when I catch one then I can trace the others he's posting under the same account.

I'll post fuller details in due course.
