Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

Hi,

Just wanted to alert any other potential "victims" to this scam regarding iPhone 5S 64GB which were advertised on a local buy/sell website in Cyprus.

I've been emailing with the "seller" - Alexandru <[email protected]>. Anyway, I did have a large element of doubt in my mind about this fabulous offer, but the warning sirens certainly sounded when I received this Amazon Payments invoice (from email address [email protected] on behalf of Amazon Payments <[email protected]>.

The whole email from "Amazon" looked fraudulent - down to the poor quality logos and mis-matched text in the email. I've contacted Amazon and luckily was wise enough not to create any bank transfer.

Just wanted everyone to keep an eye out for these scammers. Some people (like me) - will believe that it's true. But then again, when can you buy a new iPhone 5S 64GB for only €350!!

Hello scammer - I've reported your post, so you will soon be flagged appropriately.

I guess being listed here is killing your "business" - :laugh-s:

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Welcome scammer!

Since the "offer" is a clear scam, your statement that you received the item is clearly a lie, which means you must be the scammer behind this bogus offer or you are working for the scammers.

I always find it interesting when scammers are egotistical enough to think that they can join our site and somehow fool a group of people who have years of experience dealing with scammers, or childish enough to throw a tantrum at being exposed.

We do however appreciate your visit, as it helps to demonstrate just how low you scammers will sink to try to steal money from innocent people, and we always appreciate when you share more of your email addresses with us as well. Now we know that the address [email protected] is connected to the same scammer or group of scammers.

Please feel free to share more of your information with us, and we will be happy to make sure that it is handled appropriately.

You have to laugh at the stupidity of this scammer, both in choosing his new username and trying again to convince everyone that this clear scam is legitimate. :laugh-s:

Trying again, scammer? Looks like you just don't get it...

Thank you for providing another of your email addresses as well...

For the benefit of those reading this thread: The scenario described in this scam is now, and will always be, a scam to steal your money. This scammer is both stupid and persistent, and still hopes that he can convince people to ignore the scam warning by pretending to be a satisfied customer. We left his posts here to show just how low these scammers will go to steal your money.
