I've been able to track down where the scammers have taken most of their photos from in their fraudulent adverts and they post a minimum of 100 daily on Autotrader UK, but now they're increasingly posting photos with the registration details photo-hacked out.
I wouldn't bother even enquiring about any such advert, especially if the price is ridiculously low, but it would be folly to send payment for any such vehicle without having seen it.
The scammer will have a million reasons why you can't see it, but a bargain isn't a bargain if you get no car and there remains the risk of buying a stolen car that the police will take off you.
