I took a moment to alert the site manager and also dropped a short email to the lister. I received this back. BTW, the lister show New York as his State but lists a California Phone Number. A copy of the email reponse:

i are very ready to sell this gun to you at the cost of 500$.
shipping fee is 50$ so in other for you to have this gun,you are to make a
payment of 550$ including shipment for the gun to get to you.

if you have your license we can use it for you to receive this gun but if you
do not have a license and you have your ffl dealer ,send to us your
dealer ffl so that we can ship the gun to him,i can also ship it discreetly.


if you have your license and you are ready to receive the gun your
self or you want me ship it discreetly ,send to us your home address
as follows:

your full names?
home address?
city?
postal code?
phone number?

once i receive any of those document i have requested,i shall send
to you my payment details and once as payment is confirm,i shall
proceed with shipment of your gun.
send to me ur number for easy communication.

Your warning may not go as far as you wanted it to go. We try not to educate scammers and make them better. Informing a scammer of mistakes in his scripts and being posted on anti scam forums only helps scammers. He will take all of 5 minutes and open a new email account with a new fake name. Next he will correct his errors and make his script better to fool the next victim.
