Got an incoming text message after I posted my Acer V5 for sale on Craigslist. Within a couple of hours I got a text message from 6468200764. This is a scam!

The text messages stopped as soon as I sent that. Do they really think I'm that stupid? First off, I have everything in the ad, including pictures that has the box with the laptop. Secondly, don't ask me questions that are already answered in the ad.

I'm trying to sell my IPhone 5S on craigslist for $300, when I get a text:

Dbag: Hey...whatsup do you stil have your <copy/pasted item sell title> for sale?

Me: yep

Dbag: Do you still have the box and how long have you been using it?

Me: Like the ad says, I've had it for 14 months and all the original items are included and in mint condition, even the box.

Dbag: ok...where are you located?

Me: (I tell him general areas of my home and work, then offer to meet near either area)

Dbag: Alright..I'm sorry i don't have a meet up schedul so I'll be offering you $400 including shiping fee and am paying via PayPal..I'll be glad if you accept my offer and get back to me with an invoice via PayPal to [email protected] and i'll process the fund immediately.

At this point I decided to troll him a bit

Me: On second thout, I'd like $5000 for the phone thru PayPal instead. I'd greatly appreciate it if you would accept my new offer and send me the money ASAP. Once i receive the money I will sendyou th e phone, so kindly pay me the ,oney so i can send you the fone. Thamk you!

I got no further reply. I received three other near identical inquiries within an hour of this one. which I started sending pictures of hardcore gay porn to upon immediate reply. lol.

He just contacted me about my iPhone for sale using the exact words he used with you guys! I googled the account name ([email protected]) and this popped up. Thank you for posting!
