Only scammers don't view or pick up goods they're buying

Pick up agents are another invention of 419 scammers equivalent to the scam concerning deceased President's legacies and, though they do exist, no one realistically buys items 'blind' from ad sites and then pays someone else to collect the goods.

As much as you may wish for the ex-President of Sierra Leone to bequeath you his wealth, it's as likely as someone wanting you to pay for a company to collect goods he's buying from you that he's never seen.

Equally, if you buy a vehicle from a seller without ever seeing it, however you've paid, you have no recourse if everything the seller has told you is a fairy tale, and ad sites are full of fairy tales and they're usually the best deals too. If you've found a bargain and then don't bother to view it before paying, you risk never seeing it.

Buyers and sellers may wish never to meet the person they're dealing with but, by ensuring you do, you exclude dealing with the majority of foreign scammers and many in your own country too.

90% of scammers can be driven off ad sites if buyers and sellers simply make sure they meet the person they're dealing with. If you're shy the risk is that you lose your money.
