2 new emails to watch out for on ebay: [email protected] and [email protected]. They ask you to contact them for buy it now on ebay but will send you a fake ebay invoice asking for a wire transfer. I can't believe how rampant these $2500 scams are. Ebay should be held responsible for the listings that go up on their site.

People that run eBay are like maggots in carrion. eBay would be a different animal today if they wanted it to be.
No no, takings are maximised this way. Like any addiction, they will eventually fall headlong into an abyss. :twisted:

The simple commercial reality is that ad sites that become overrun by scammers will become obsolete.

I have never used one and never would.

CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle
