watch out for this one. Auto trader has been notified.
Hello ,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing my 2002 Honda Accord EX with automatic transmission. It has been extremely well maintained with a full service history! Engine sounds like brand new, start fast and there are no leaks and no ticks, or noises whatsoever coming from this motor. The transmission shifts as it should, very smoothly. It goes down the road perfectly straight. You won't find another vehicle like this with lower kilometers! Very smooth ride! A Accord in this condition, with these options (it's fully loaded for it's year) and this color combination is an absolute rarity! Very clean interior ... This Accord runs and drive like a dream, has ONLY 115,840 kms. This beauty is saftied/e-tested.
If you are interested in buying, the price is CAD $2,460. I had to move with my family to Greece and to bring the car here will cost me high import fees so that's the reason of selling.

The financial part will be managed by eBay, which means that you will have a 5 days inspection period before committing to buy the car. In this way both, buyer and seller are 100% covered during the steps of this transaction.
If you're interested in concluding this purchase just email me back and I would be glad to explain you how the entire process works...

Hope to hear from you soon,
Kasandra & Ricardo

Answered ad before i read your posting.

Carbon copy of your situation except family in UK

Car was shown as being in Nanaimo but when I said I had a mechanic friend who lived there all of a sudden the car is in a crate in St Johns.

Thank you for your posting. I was suspicious but you blew this wide open for me

There are hundreds of fake scam ads on all ad sites. You can avoid most of them by insisting on inspecting the vehicle first, but they use increasingly ingenious and inventive stories to try to avoid anyone visiting.

I like this one

Available from Thursday 22nd August as currently travelling Europe.
Returning to Australia on Saturday 24th of August - must sell!

Usually they won't tell you up front that you can't view the vehicle as they want you well and truly hooked first. It's usually the last thing they tell you.

Giving themselves two days to sell a vehicle before they leave for Australia - really ? :=)

CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle
