Welcome to ScamWarners slafa,

You are 100% correct it is a scam. You were correct in spotting it. He wants to steal your money.

The paypal payment would have been fake from a fake paypal email address. No money would have been transferred into your Paypal account. The fake Paypal email is believable with phony screenshots. The best way to verify funds in your paypal account is to log in directly without any links.

He would later send email from the fake paypal address telling you the funds are on hold until you pay his agent, mover or shipper. Any of the three will be the scammer or an accomplice. He will want you to transfer the money via Western Union or Money Gram.

Please post the email address he used.

Please contacta moferatorstor if you have a question or information about this post.

Please do not tell the scammer he is posted here.

Thanks Byron,

His address is [email protected] Which was also an obvious sign that I didn't notice at first. When I saw the EU designation I figured it for Europe and scam but also I do know many people in europe that buy antique cars like mine and have them shipped so thats when I found this site to do a little more digging.

If a buyer can pay you - he can also pay his shipper.

The fact that a buyer wants you to make a payment is all you need to know to confirm you're being scammed.

If a buyer asks you to pay for anything - he's a scammer.

CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle
