We receive orders using fraudulent credit cards and I thought to share some of the information here.
Our most recent one was from Malaysia, email address [email protected], under the name of Encik Badrul. The billing and delivery address were in Taiping. The order had express shipping and he had attempted 3 other credit cards that failed prior to finally getting one to go through.
From Mexico, we had attempts from 3 different identities for a total of 19 orders all being place from and with billing and delivery addresses in Merida, Mexico. All were high dollar orders and there were multiple credit cards that failed before one finally went through. The orders all had different addresses and emails but were all placed from the IP address 189.214.28.114.
We are not aware of any database that is available to retailers but it would be great if there was one to check and report this type of activity to help prevent future fraud.
