Re: Re:

Hi, how i wish i could come to inspect this vehicle but currently i'm working away from the country. I'm in the deployment who's on a mission right now in Afghanistan with the NZ Defence Force. Due to the distance I have decided to arrange the pick-up of the vehicle with a Private Courier Service after the payment for the car has been sorted with you, If this is okay with you, I am ready to make a full payment into your bank account once you're ready.

Cheers

I just finished paying for the car, please check your e-mail folders for the receipt that would be sent to you by the payment company, I made an additional $1,500 which is for freight of the car, I'll be needing you to help me here by helping me to send the money over to the Freight Agents through Western Union because I am not allowed to go out of my jurisdiction at the moment so I am not able to send the money to the agent by myself because I will need to get into a Post Shop to use Western Union and none of those things even works here.
Here is the courier details which you're required to send the money to,

Vincent Hudson
3 Jalan Desa
Kepong
Kuala Lumpur
52100
Malaysia

More details about the payment should be on the emails you will receive, please read the emails carefully and understand the procedure if there is any, I would like to you give the address which you would like the car to be collected.

A Pleasure Meeting You.
Cheers.

Welcome to Scamwarners hsvv99 and are glad to see you've picked on this 'basement level' scam.

This scammer is still in the apprentice phase with 'car crash' grammar pointing to his African origin, and he's showing his hand very early in what would normally be the time wasting phase. He believes you'll feel reassured by his use of a NZ e-mail addie.

He's using the standard I'm at sea/up a mountain/on an oil rig/in outer space/marooned on a desert island excuse as to why he can't view the vehicle. It's pretty rare that someone will buy a vehicle without viewing it and why wait until you're abroad and unavailable to make a purchase ? Unless it's a rare vintage vehicle that won't come on the market again, no one would do it, and even then they'd be foolish not to view it first.

He's even mentioned the standard 'shipping agent' who you have to pay, otherwise the scam doesn't work. If you tell him to pay the shipping agent instead, he'll get very frustrated, and to make it a Wuxfer to a person in Malaysia is plain ridiculous. Many Africans have gone to study in Malaysia and I sense this one's not going to be eating regularly.

Thanks for posting the details. Many of the others are much more sophisticated than this one, so be careful. The minute they claim to be abroad and/or unavailable to view your car, I'd drop them, but at least be suspicious - and don't pay shippers. You're selling, so the money only goes one way - to you.

CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle
