Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

Intro : Ferzo-market.com, aka nouveaute-electro.com, offers consumer electronics at prices around 1/6 market value.

The scam starts with fake ads like this :
http://london.craigslist.co.uk/phd/3457307638.html

A fraudulent ad - this camera retails at about 3,000 GBP, second hand ebay 2400 etc

If you respond to the add, you get a response from [email protected] asking you to order the camera from their online store ferzo-market.com

ferzo-market.com is hosted in Germany, domain first registered 20th November 2012, and registration contact details are throwaway addresses.

The website itself has red flags :

1/ Products are offered at massively reduced prices, any genuine shop doing that would be bankrupt within days
2/ No genuine email address or phone number to contact, just a contact form
3/ they say : "We no longer accept credit/debit card or Paypal payments due the fraudulent attempts to make orders to our company."
4/ html of their website refers to nouveaute-electro.com, itself only registed in September 2012

Finally, and the biggest red flag of all, [email protected] originates from ip address 5.15.65.172 which belongs to a private citizen (residential) customer of this ISP : RCS & RDS SA 71-75 Dr. Staicovici Bucharest, 050557, Romania

You can guarantee those are fake details. The website does run on a German ISP, but that address belongs to a company that makes aluminium strips. Unless they are turning out laptops, ipads and cameras from their smelter !

This scam now being picked up elsewhere, concerning a Nikon D800 camera being offered for 820 euros, 660 GBP, genuine price for that camera new is about 2000 GBP.

Scam being reported elsewhere :
