Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

I was selling my brand new laptop on craigslist and this person, Whitney Glazer contacted me to buy it. She made up a story that she works at a place that does not allow phone calls outside and requested me to send the laptop overseas (Malaysia). Being a first time seller, I did not find that very suspicious, and agreed. She also offered a handsome contribution (that should have been a red flag, but hind sight 20/20, I guess). So I complied and waited for my paypal payment.

Then I received an email from paypal presumably that my account can only be credited with the amount if the total is $500 more than the stipulated amount. So I was requested by Whitney Glazer to send the $500 to her son and that paypal has already deducted that amount from her. I even complied to that fraud. How stupid of me???

After my money had safely reached her crony in Malaysia, the fake paypal email asked me $900 more citing that my account has not had an international teansfer. This finally brought me to my senses. I contacted paypal who told me that I have been a victim of a phishing scam and advised me to go try to recover my package. Alas! That is not going to happen now.

Please beware of this creep. She sounds like a helpless old lady from her emails. She is not. She is a fraud!!!
