This one came from the email address: [email protected] with a reply to address as: [email protected].

The item was for a wedding gown and the first email was:

Hope this item still for sale ?

Jeremy

I knew this was a scam right off the bat so I always reply:

Which item?

I reply this way and remove the subject line of what the item actually is. I do this because the scammer sends so many emails they won't know which item they emailed you about.

So after I sent the "which item", the scammer replied:

Thanks for the prompt response to my email reply. I will be buying from you so please kindly withdraw the advert from CRAIGSLIST Please be informed that i will be paying with a certified or money order check from my Bank it will be delivered to you via United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx or USPS, so I'll need you to provide me with the following information to facilitate the mailing of the check...

Name to be on the payment..................
Home address................
City..............
State..............
Zip Code.............
Cell phone #.............

I will make arrangements for the pick up as soon as you have your money i am completely satisfied with the advert and the payment will be delivered within 24 hours.**I use a hearing impaired phone # and will receive your calls via email**

I replied:

Yesterday I was emailed by Hanna Heyl and today by Jeremy Caesy.
Both responding to the item I am selling on Craig's List.
They both want to send me money for item, extra for my running around and then have their 'mover' come to pick up item. They are either on a trip or 'somewhere else'. Both said they want to buy item sight unseen and asked me to remove the item from Craig's List.
They are both hearing impaired.

They need a new "M O".

So glad I did not fall for this persons scam. All his emails wanted me to do something different each time. Also I kept contact with him and he would reply promptly. However as soon as I told him I was on to him about it being a scam he never responded. I also reported him to the FTC, but I don't know how much good that will do. I probably would have fallen for it if he didn't keep changing the details on how to process the payment.
Here are the emails he sent:
