Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

Posted my vehicle for sale and got two email in one day. One was from [email protected], which I've seen the posts on here.
And the other from the email mentioned above.

The email address for the emails sent back and forth was created solely for the Kijiji ad for the car and will be deleted as soon as the car is sold.

It started out pretty innocently .. question asking if the car was still for sale.
Once I answered the person back "that yes it is"

This is what I got in return.

I did stupidly reply to the email with the information he required before looking to see if it was a scam .. Luckily I'm moving in about 2 weeks and my phone number is changing and will be unpublished/unlisted.
If I happen to receive a money order from this person, I'll scan it and add it so you have an example to show on here for people .. I will block out my info.
I just feel real stupid as normally I will go online to find out if the emails I receive are scams.
thanks

Thank you shanzzie. Scammers are very active and persistent. This is a perfect example of that. Many also do not keep track of who they have contacted of what the item is. They are just intent on taking money.

Best of luck finding a real buyer for your vehicle. :D

Thanks Bubbles. I haven't heard back from either of the scammers for a while. Although I did get a message today from someone going by the name of Alexis Sanchez. He's asking if it's still for sale .. which is pretty normal .. but then asks me for the price .. which is listed about 3 or 4 times in the ad I posted. Not falling for it this time. lol
