Hello is this real or scam. i have already transfered money on several occasions and still havent received athing. i have stopped contacting them but they seem to keep on contacting me. they say my package is in country. and that i still owe them money long story as you can see. i will post the emails here. start from botom to top. they have contacted me again today with the last email.

Yes, this is definatly a scam! The money you payd via western union is gone and can't be retrieved once it is picked up by the scammer. Best thing to do is to ignore all incoming emails from this scammer, as he only wants to steal more money from you. You can read more about this type of scams here:

As others have already stated, it is a scam. There are no phones - nothing has been shipped. The mistakes in the English tell me you are not dealing with someone from UK.

Unfortunately, the very first email tells us this is a scammer.

If this person were really located in UK, the phone number would not start with 44-70. Numbers starting with 44-70 are NOT UK numbers. They are redirect numbers that can be forwarded to phones all over the world. They are very frequently used by African scammers who are pretending to be in UK.

As the others have said, you won't get your money back. In reality, you have no idea who you have been in contact with, or even what country he is in, and with Western Union or Moneygram, there is no way to get a refund for money that was picked up. These services are intended for sending money to families and friends, not to strangers, and they do not offer the protection that you would get with a credit card or a service like paypal.

So not website to be killed. - Unfortunately, this scammer is probably posting left, right, and centre on lots of advertisement sites. Report one account, he will open a new one withing minutes, with a new email address not on our database. So best leave it alone, he is somewhere overseas where the law enforcement can't or won't deal with it.

If you make a Google search on

Skype:mobilephoneltd

it brought up 300 ads for me and shows the scale of this scam operation.

If they:-

- use a 44 (0)70 phone number - it's a scammer
- use a hotmail, yahoo, gmail or other free mail addie - it's not a business and probably a scammer
- use a Skype phone number - it's not a business and probably a scammer
- use Western Union or Moneygram - it's not a business and almost definitely a scammer
- forum spam ? - probably a scammer

There are scammers who will go to the trouble of setting up fake websites and using the bank accounts of mules so any of the above features indicates you aren't even dealing with a competent scammer. If you're offered a bank account, make sure it's in the name of the company they claim to be. If it's a personal account they aren't a company and most likely they're a scammer.
