I tried to sell my Sailboat on Craigslist and within one hour I received a text message from a guy named "Sersen Brown" said, "
Xxxxxx Sailboat - $5000 (Xxxxxx SailingClub) I just want to know if still up for sale and is it negotiable or firm?please reply me back to my email address ([email protected])cos am not good at texting,OK?

I thought maybe he is an old guy who is not familiar with text, so I replied him by email, then I received the reply within five minutes said that

Hello, Thanks for getting back to me so quick. I wont be coming to pick it up because I am in the Marine and am currently deployed.I agree with your price and will purchase it. I will pay via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal, please sign up and get back to me as soon as possible. My mover will arrange for the pick up after payment clears and I hope we can make the purchase as fast as possible? I will need the following details to send the payment: 1. Your Paypal email ID or a paypal payment invoice. 2. Your final price 3. Your contact address for the pick up.
I look forward to hearing back from you. Also, could you please send any other pictures you have.. Thank You..

It sounds a little bit weird, but since I live in Hawaii, there are a lot of people work in the military.

Google actually warns me about this email and I google both of his email and phone number, it all connected to scams.

After I disagreed to use PayPal, he emailed me again and said,

Hi, paypal is the easiest, simplest and most secure way to make payment online. You can open an account with them on http://www.paypal.com and when you open it, I transfer the money to your paypal account with the email you used to open the account with them as i will also covers all paypal charges. As soon as I send the money to your account, then you can transfer it to your bank account or your credit card..

His email is [email protected] and his phone number is +1 (240) 812-8287

Be aware of this guy!
