Hi,
First, a few words about this 2006 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner, priced at $2000. Has an 4.0L V6 engine and only 115,177miles. This car has been extremely well maintained with a full service history. No accident history, clear title, no dents or dings and no scratches. It's an automatic transmission which shifts perfectly. If you decide to buy it, you'll receive all the papers, owner manual, keys, a buy-sell contract already signed by me and the clear title. Was recently serviced which includes: changing the brakes fluid, new rotors and new pads front and back. The car is ready to be driven. This was my daughter's car who passed away due to cancer. You cannot imagine my grief but the car brings me a lot of memories that make me suffer and this is the only reason for what I want to sell it. Due to my job I'm away and I've decided to make this deal through Amazon Auto Sales, so if you want to move forward please let me know so I can explain you how amazon works.

Sincerely,
Amanda

Hi
Thank you for this info...this person (( [email protected] )) has been in touch with me several times today by email following my enquiry about the Toyota Tecoma she has listed on craigslist albuquerque.

This is copy of the last email i got from her/him/whoever it actually is

Hi again,
Unfortunately, I can't close this transaction personally due to the nature of my job, I am in the United States Army serving as a CBRN Specialist (74D). I am currently deployed and won't be back till September. The car is in Amazon Auto Sales custody in Mobile Alabama ready to be shipped with all the documents. The shipping will be free because my brother sold his bike in the same way two weeks ago and they gave me a discount voucher which includes free shipping. As I said I will use Amazon in this transaction for our protection.
I need your full name, your full shipping address and phone number so I can initiate the transaction. Amazon contacts you with further details regarding the payment and shipping process. You submit the payment to Amazon, Amazon confirms the payment and asks me to release the shipment. They ship the car which should be at your door within 2 or 3 business days with all the necessary papers (clear title, bill of sale signed by me, user’s manual, insurance etc). You have a 5 days inspection period before you confirm the deal and Amazon forwards the payment to me or you cancel the deal and get your money back.
Basically Amazon holds your money safe until you confirm that this car is what you have been expected and you want to buy it. It is not a sight unseen deal.
On the other hand I can ship my car knowing Amazon has your money and you won't "disappear" with my car. We are both covered. Sorry for the long emails I have tried to touch all bases.

God bless you,
Amanda Jones

I HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO THIS EMAIL YET AS I THOUGHT TO GOOGLE HER EMAIL ADDRESS JUST TO SEE WHAT CAME UP, AND LUCKILY YOUR INFO DID. HOW SHOULD I PROCEED? I DO NOT WANT TO DO WHAT SHE/HE/IT REQUESTS WHICH IS MY FULL DETAILS AND ADDRESS ETC.

thank you

Barbara

Ignore them, don't reply to any more emails, just let them think you fell off the face of the planet. They'll realize you're not a sucker and they will just move on to their next victim.
