Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

Laptop on sale on Gumtree. Jason Stanley at [email protected] (not the philosopher) offered me the firm price via text BUT said to reply via email. I offered what was on my listing and he accepted with no haggling down. Also offered me 60 pounds to send to a friend Rafael Robinson at 79 Heatley Road, Rochdale, OL16 4BW, UK (which would have cost under 20 pounds). He gave me strict instructions: money request via PayPal and postage via DHL. I sent him a money request and I was sent a HTML email from PayPal confirming the payment, but the address was [email protected] appearing as "[email protected]". The PayPal email claimed that the money would be sent once I provide the DHL shipping number. None of this, however, reflected on my PayPal account; the money request still showed as pending the Jason Stanley (the philosopher).

Now, we're just exchanging messages, because I want to waste his time now and I'm bored.
