Hi Guys,
I have seen my friend going through these scams and i would like to share my experiences on it.
New type of scams are stated using social networking and whatsaap is majorly used to trap customers. Below are the details and process how the scams are done. Hope it will help you in your decision.
1) All the selling part is done via whatsapp - 99% the number will be local and they claim the business is from UK or Germany.
2) They will share the company details and certificates and a link to proof it-up.
3) The products they sell will be of low cost and they say they are importing from UK. When i checked with the actual person the call came from Nigeria.
4) The guys from Nigeria are coordinating via whatsapp in this scam.
6) The payment is mostly via GoCash cart (recharge) attached copies will help u in noticing.
7) On payment the tracking number is given which will work fine for 2 days then they will call you back saying your product is stopped by customs and they need extra amount for clearance.
the logistics company they use is also tied up in this.
