I was selling a couch and my fiance got a txt message from the number 225 238 8198 saying
" I wish I could come and have a look at it but due to my state of health, I wouldnt be able to come."
"Thank you for your response. I'm Satisfied with the condition and agree on the price, I will be making the payment to you via paypal, get back to me with the following information..
Your PayPal E-Mail:
Your Full Name:
Your phone Number:
Select Address:
I thought it was weird so I told this person I would be txting them. I txt the person, " My Fiance said you are interested in the couch? the response back was the exact same message with this added
" and if you do not have a paypal account, its very easy, safe and protected to open one. Just visit www.paypal.com "
I was livid. why would you have a pre-written message. I told them this is a scam leave me alone. That I was going to use the money to buy my child a bed and he was sleeping on the couch that I am trying to sell. They did not care they still tried to get me to fall for it. Almost begging for my info. then finally gave up and said. You are too much work. SCAM even when you type these words in google this scam pops up. Just wanted the number listed for everyone else to realize as well. How and why do people do this to people who work hard for their money.
