Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

Hi, i never thought i'd encounter something like this but it certainly did and it did feel shady from the very beginning. The buyer who calls himself "Angelina Nelson" wanted to buy my laptop and he wanted my bankinfo so he could "send" the money and few hours later i get an email from "Scotia banks" in which they claim if i don't ship the laptop i won't receive the money but that's just bollocks to me. I'll post a few pics below so you can see.

Him giving me his "info", also his name doesn't correlate with the name he has on his email namely "Angelina Nelson":

The fake scotia bank:

And then the buyer himself sends this message:

A closer look:

Also the links to the images used in the email are also suspicious as they lead to this:

then there are many other websites linked to the images:

Email of fake scotia bank: [email protected]

It's a definite scam. Banks do not hold on to funds pending someone completing an action such as shipping an item.

Please can you post the actual emails and email addresses rather than screenshots as they are not searchable if other victims are searching for the details.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
