Hi, glad to hear back from you. I would love to know the present condition and your lowest price for the car £? Would also like to know when it was last serviced?

Thanks for the info, I'm very much ok with the car present condition and happy with the price of £6,850. I live in Hull and this is where the car is coming. My pickup agent will come for the pickup of the car after payment have been made and cleared to your account. Do get back to me with your bank details or alternatively your PayPal email address and also the address for the car to be picked after funds have cleared to your account. thanks.

I totally agree with the lady above, this scammer has been in contact with us, exact same details, offering to buy a Vauxhall Corsa from us yesterday and then emailed and asked for our paypal account or bank account. He told us delivery would be to Hull although we cannot find any Guildford photographers in Hull. He told us once payment was made his agent would be to collect the car. Something very fishy with his emails. Never sends a contact number, or doesn't answer the phone although we have managed to get the start of his mobile, as his messages came through our icloud email. We have only managed to find the first few numbers of his phone but here they are as a warning +44726835 xxxxx. Please do not get done by this scammer, seems to be cars he is interested in.

Hi there, I am happy to inform you that payment has now been made for the Car via PayPal and funds has been deducted from my account already. I have also received notification from my bank that the transfer was successful. Kindly check all your email folder for payment confirmation from PayPal regarding this transaction and do get back to me as soon as this has been confirmed by you so we can make arrangement for the Car to be picked. Thanks.

I just had exactly the same email chain. Pretty convincing until he started talking about paypal and pickup agents, which sent massive alarm bells ringing!

Same is happening to me...very frustrating having posted my car on gum tree this is the second scammer to contact me. I respond via my business email address , which carries all my Barrister details on it so I hope that sends the first message.

The second response i make is to invite them to either have the car for free, picking it up whenever they want...ensure you put in your email that the caveat being they are for real, but they must make a donation to charity. Alternatively I now tell them they can have it at a reduced price so long as they pay me a non refundable deposit and that if they call me my accountant can take their payment details and process it straight away.

Anyone asking you questions regarding shipping, bank, paypal, or other extraneous questions that seem fishy is a scammer...Protect yourself by ensuring you have all their details first, check them against as much detail as you can and only deal in deposits that are banked and cleared through a checkable source.

Welcome to Scamwarners,

The best way is to sell your car is face to face at a public place. Preferably your bank and accept only cash.

A scammer can have a victim pay your bank account only to later be recalled. Once the this victim realize they have been scammed in another scam the police will only have your real infomation.

Also be aware of scammers flashing your account.

Please contacta moferatorstor if you have a question or information about this post.

Please do not tell the scammer he is posted here.
