They are still scamming...
Here is the conversation I had when they were trying to buy my bike...

I hope I don’t insult or make you feel uneasy just in case you are a genuine purchaser but I have to be honest and say that I am a little confused and suspicious about your emails, txt message and process (I deeply apologise if I am wrong).
If you are genuine, I am sure you won’t mind putting my mind at ease so I can sell you a top quality bike that will make your dad a very happy man, and that you can put my mind at ease that this is a genuine sale.
I will make you a deal, if you can supply me with some information that makes me sure this is a real purchase I will discount the bike by $500 as a sign of good faith.
• You say you have a courier agent that takes care of this for you. Can you explain how that works? And what the name of the courier company
• Also you mentioned the inspection in Darwin what do you mean by this (you did not answer my question in the last email).
• Can you give me the name of your oil rig, where it is located and what company you work for
• What street and town do you live in
• Can you give me your Australian mobile number (the number from which you sent the txt is not a valid number)
I really hope this is a genuine inquiry for my great bike and not another low life trying to steal or rip people off. I am sure if you are genuine you would fully understand my concern and have the same disgusting feelings for the people who make us honest and real people question someone who may be a genuinely good person doing a fantastic act of giving their loved one a fantastic present for being such a great dad and human being.
I do really look forward to hearing back from you Debbie in the hope we can proceed further and you are a real person

Yes the bike is still for sale, I have it in two places Bikesales.com and Gumtree, I am not sure where you viewed it.

There are 20 images on there, Can only put 10 on Gumtree.
I have offered to deliver it if on the mainland so I would want to be a little firm on the price if that’s the case, if in Tassie then I am open to offers.

Thanks for your respond ,i work with Arc Energy and we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kupe project, my courier are ABC transport and they are company 1 have been using them for some time now and they don't respond to an individual and i really want the bike to be delivered to my address below and that's my home and i appreciate your concern because gum tree has alot of funny people and one of the reason a i also choose Paypal is because they protect buyers and sellers interest without fear of doing business
