CL Scammer using 682-628-4812 Fake Check

Scammer texts my CL ad header w/ no question. I did a simple reply. Then"Okay, will issue you a check which will clear in a day or 2, I will make arrangement for the pick-up after i would not mind adding $50 if you retain it for me"

Fake check scheme. Avoid

I'm from Dallas, Tx but currently in NY on a business trip so my P.A could only send out check payment for now including the movers funds so they can come over for pickup.

Same exact thing happened tom me. Person texted me using 682-628-4812. It looked a little fishy so I googled the phone number and found this forum. It's a total scam. Beware!
