I have recently also encountered the same thing and I was also selling a camera, and it really sucks because I failed to notice the 'accountant.com' part as I was really eager to make the money as it was a pricey camera. Unfortunately from me, I have already shipped the camera and they almost made me believe to wire them money through Western Union but luckily I felt suspicious about it!

As mentioned, it is always a gift for a relative or what not. Until I called Paypal to clarify, I realized that this whole thing is a scam.
But too bad I lost my pricey camera, I guess this is a lesson learnt.
