Everyone of them wanted to steal your money. They were going to send you a fake Paypal Payment or fake (check or money order). Then they would instruct you to send an over payment to the mover, shipper or agent. You will be asked to send the money via Western Union or Money Gram.

paypal account, and this is why i insisted on using paypal to pay,all
i will need is your paypal email address to make the payment, and if
you dont have a paypal account yet, you can set one it cant take you
less than 3mins to do that, i will be expecting your paypal email so l
can pay. I have a pick up agent that will come for the pick up after
payment has been sorted, l will be waiting for your reply asap..

This comment by the scammer proves a point why we do not report email addressess nor lead the scammer here. It will only take him a few minutes to get a new address that is not searchable/reported to Anti Scam sites.

Hello - I got one of these emails today too.

First clued in when someone called "Matt" was interested in buying a wedding dress, did not mention trying it or buying it for someone else.... or even a wedding at all. Googled and found this forum. Not that I would have sent money via Western Union anyway!

Reported this to Scamwatch.gov.au also.

FYI He/She is using the name Matt Fiasl.

The email you received is a scam attempt. This scammer has attempted to change some of the wording in the typical script. Since he is not English speaking he made some mistakes. We do not want to educate him any further. So, I will not point out his mistakes. Scammers often visit us. They attempt to learn where they messed up.

What you have posted is a PayPal rental scam script. I did find the same script on another scam site.

Please post the email address the scammer is using.

In this scam the scammer will send a fake PayPal Payment from a fake PayPal email address. There will be an over payment. He will want you to send money to a travel agent or some other third party. He will want you to do this by Western Union or Money Gram. Another option for the scammer is to write you later and say he can't make it for some odd reason. He then will want a refund by Western Union or Money Gram.

He basically wants to steal your money. The third person is the scammer himself or an accomplice.

This same scam can be used sending fake checks or money orders.

If your screen name is the same as your real name let me know through PM. You may want to change that. We do get visits from scammmers and thieves.

I had put a forklift up and after putting it up for $7,000 got a text & emailed back with this response from Lad Gordon ([email protected])
