Im glad this was of help! Still makes me mad that we have people like that stealing from honest people. I hope anyone that have had the pleasure of dealing with these people google as you did. Thank you all! I have been contacted by those listed above as well. I have an add on gumtree which has only been listed today and have been receiving text messages saying to email only, and they want a paypal address to pay for an item that they don't want to come see first. Look out for this address [email protected]. He is a scammer! Anyone that can't come see an item before purchasing in my book must be trying to scam another! No one spends $4000 without looking first!

I received a few emails claiming to come from paypal which of course was a scam. I opened another tab to check my paypal account and the money that the scammer claimed to have put into my paypal account wasnt even there. I had even rang paypal just for piece of mind. I had to spoof those emails to the real paypal. The paypal emails that had claimed I had received money had links to open up, one of them to paypal these are all fake. Ive learnt that anyone wanting to buy something and wanting you to transfer money for them via western union can only come from a scammer.
Sure enough I had received verification from the real paypal that the emails I had received from the fake paypal are nothing but a scam. I hope this was of help.

Just to reiterate--as leagar said, it is most definitely not legitimate. The emails from Paypal are fakes. Accountant.com addresses, incidentally, are free email addresses.

Any email from paypal instructing you to send money elsewhere is fake. Paypal does not get in the middle of transactions, and does not hold money pending shipping. In addition, Paypal is a money transfer service, and WU and Moneygram are competing services. Paypal is not exactly anxious to send paying customers away to their competition.
