Hi he/she is still at it... ebay should be told. I was looking at a tractor ford 4630 and stupidly I responded to an email not contact seller as I usually do. I got the same email as you guys. It disappeared once I had made contact with them. The give away for me that they are foreign in line 2 of the email. I rang ebay last night who told me not to give my address out make no further contact. After putting in google their email address I came across your comments. I had to just send a final message ....GOT YOU YOU B - - - - - D !!! YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR LANGUAGE IT'S A DEAD GIVE AWAY. YOUR CARD IS MARKED !!!! i have just been scammed on this motorhome £4900 the money went to a bank in spain the details are exactly as you show the documentation i recieved suposedly from ebay had all the correct logos etc. what i do from here i dont know defender

I'm sorry to hear this. Report it to your local police if you haven't already. But I can't hold out any hope of you getting your money back, as there's little or nothing the police can do to catch Internet scammers.

i fell for it motorhome located in broxbourne herts jane working in aberdeen. i checked her ebay activity checked out ok. think its a stolen identity got all the documents with ebay logos.i have been well done for £4900.has anybody reported these people to ebay and if so how come they are still posting on ebay. what chance is there for compensation from ebay?

I have been looking for a van on ebay when i noticed a nice one which seemed a bargain ( actually too much so to be true) but , as greed is an overwhelming emotion and the thought of losing out on such a bargain was hounding me, I contacted the seller through ask a question regarding where he was based for me to view the vehicle..

who sent me a reply stating he was working in scotland to which i replied, oh well, scotland is way too far to go to view a vehicle, sorry to waste your time.. he then replied stating he had contacted Ebay and they approved him to use " buyer protection service" which he says works like..

I received a few mails and all asking me to pay for the item and then contact the seller for him to deliver the vehicle.. I got suspicious and contacted ebay who informed me they do not offer this type of service..

First I have to let you know that I have earlier ended my ebay auction because some "serious buyers" that wanted to buy my motorhome, but in the end they did not have the money to pay for it... So the motorhome is still for sale.

I know that you have many choices on eBay and I appreciate that you contacted me. I'm retired, separated from my wife and I own a holiday house in Spain, Barcelona. I was forced to have moved here and the motorhome is also here with me, I took it with me, because we had to many things to carry.

The camper was gently used by me and my ex. wife only and it is in perfect conditions, is still registered in United Kingdom as you can see plate numbers from the photos !

Excellent condition, the bodywork is immaculate, no scratches, dents or hidden defects as well as the interior in excellent. I'm the registered keeper and there is no outstanding finance on the motorhome, also the motorhome comes with a full service history.

Pick-up is available also. Shipping from Barcelona can be arranged at a very best value (maximum 700 pounds and half it will be covered by me), so the price for my motorhome is 5,500 + 350(half of the delivery)= 5,850.00 !

I want this transaction to be as smooth as possible so I will only close the sale trough eBay for our own protection.

One thing that can be said for them is they are tenacious Thank you for positing this information for others to find..

This guy is still at it. I knew it was a scam as soon as the e mails started coming in with no telephone number or contact details. I played along for a while as to get the bank details, and promptly phoned the bank being used and got the account closed. I really feel for the people that have been caught by this guy. Its an elaborate scam but when things seem too good to be true they usually are. No such thing as a bargain on e bay any more i am afraid.

Its probably not just one person doing this but a little ring of criminals from abroad, its too sophisticated to be run by one person alone!
