Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

I made a purchase from an online store called www.tinadeal.com, my payment was processed the same day I ordered but nothing has ever been shipped and it now has been two weeks. Yesterday I tried contacting the email address again [email protected] and it came back undeliverable. I then remembered that I had a link in my email from them so I clicked on that and it took me to another website www.ameliamart.com and it is the same online store. This business is a scam, they take your money and never send any purchased items. Do no order from tinadeal.com or Ameliamart.com

I am sorry that you have not received what you purchased. Would you please post any emails you may have from them and the headers. You can find email headers information in my signature.

tinadeal.com had a one year registration and expired in July. ameliamart.com was 27 Aug 2013 with a one year registration. The website is very basic with dead links. I will ask a site reporter to look at this.

I also fell upon this questionable site. I purchased a freezer from them. They gave updates with tinadeal.com as if they were processing the purchase and then eventually the site didn't work anymore, but the link to ameliamart.com did. I'm pretty unsatisfied with paypal, as they shouldn't be that easy to use as a fraud payment center. They aren't western union after all. I'm on the phone right now, waiting to talk to them. I'll just dispute the transaction on my credit card, but this is ridiculous. Paypal needs to have security in place, so that fraudulent sites can't use them to steal money.

Hello

Any news about this website: http://www.ameliamart.com

I stumbled upon this website too. I trust my credit card's benefit such as fraud protection, etc. So as long as its price on this website is low enough, I am willing to take this risk.

But I just wanted to double check how you are doing with your purchase.

Do you have any news after that?

Is this website really just a fake?

I'm not sure how this can be stated any more clearly.

IT IS A SCAM.

The ameliamart domain is literally 1 WEEK OLD, and it was registered for the minimum allowable period, not exactly a sign they plan to be around very long. Notice that the key links (store location, license info, etc.) don't work. That is because they have no store location, and no license either--only bogus website offering discounts on products they don't have.

The WHOIS registrant is hidden behind a domain privacy service and I can't see anything to indicate who the company is or where they're located. I wouldn't use a website under those circumstances and certainly wouldn't pass them my card details either.

UPDATE: I just received a full refund from paypal - it literally took them 10 minutes to credit my Bank account from the time I open a claim in the resolution center. For that I give paypal Kudos. It seems paypal has caught on to the scam - good for them.

I recently made a purchase from this "fake" merchant as well. They sent me notification that my order was processed and awaiting fulfillment. Then I did some research and saw this website, albeit too late. I immediately contacted the seller and requested an estimated delivery date. They replied that my order would be received within 5-15 days of delivery (I was able to reach them at email: [email protected]). I then spoke to a paypal rep who instructed me to file a claim through their resolution center if I had not received a tracking number within 7 days (during my call to paypal the rep told me the vendor's account was in good status - not hard to believe considering it is only a few weeks old). Lo and behold, 7 days later and still no shipment notification. I again contacted the seller and they responded that my item was "out of stock" and I would be receiving a full refund. Today I received a "refund" notice from ameliamart but no refund is showing on my bank account or in paypal. I have subsequently filed a claim through paypal and it was immediately escalated in their system. It seems I'm not the only one to have issues with this vendor. Paypal: your fraud detection team is crap. Do not buy from this ANYTHING from this vendor. If you search on their website you will notice most of the links are dead. This is a "dead" give away that the merchant is a fraud (I should have taken the time to do my homework to begin with which is my own mistake). I've copied my correspondence with the vendor below for your information.

Bought one of those beds that is a metal foundation, so you don't need box springs and you have 14" of storage under it. Well I ordered this in full size and I did receive a frame( I think) did not open box because it said queen size. There was a place on line to return things but where do I send it for a refund. And if they get it I might not get my money back, I paid for this though Pay Pal. Think I'll just keep the frame it costs more than the full size and find someone else to buy one from.

PLEASE DON"T BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE BAD NEWS

I bought item's from http://www.tinadeal.com on 08/11/2013 was leery of purchasing from them, but PayPal pop up as the form of payment and I do trust PayPal. So I order the bundle deal 1 x Igloo 4.6 cu. ft. Refrigerator and Freezer with Bonus RCA 0.7-cu ft Microwave Value Bundle for $109.99. I kept checking the in my account with tinadeal.com and the status was stating awaiting payment. So I check my PayPal account to see if they sent the funds and they did. Hmmm I was still a little concern but I knew I used Paypal.
So by 08/14/2013 I woke up to let the dogs out and to my surprise there on my front porch there was the microwave sitting there. Wow I was thinking but no Igloo 4.6 cu ft refrigerator so I notice it was send by FedEx Home and look at the label to see where it was shipped from. Again I was surprise to see Wal-Mart.com on the box, so I call walmart.com customer service and use the PO number on the box to make sure that I also was going to receive the refrigerator as well. So the CS operator from WM trace the number but ask me my name, it didn't match my name and told me she couldn't help, so I explain to her that my name is on the shipping label as she put me on hold. She advise me that after talking to her supervisor that she confirm that I was going to received the refrigerator the following week by 08/22/2013. As I was relieve because I really wanted the refrigerator as the microwave was extra and was thinking that I was only getting the microwave.
But again on Saturday August 17 FedEx Home deliver it. Whippie I am happy with tinadeal.com, maybe I was a lucky one but they get 5 stars for price, product, and speed of delivery

I removed this thread temporarily while conducting further investigation. I am now reinstating it with results.

So let's look at tinadeal.com. Domain registered July 31st, site is already down.

Now move to Ameliamart.com:
-There are bogus links for business location, information, license information that do not go anywhere.
-The registration is privacy protected, instead of being in the name of a legitimate business. There are valid reasons for privacy-protecting a registration, for example when the contents are controversial and the owner may be subject to harrassment, but a legitimate business that sells merchandise to the general public does NOT have a valid reason to hide their identity, PERIOD.
-Even if they sent you the right items, which seems to be the exception rather than the rule, they appear to be sending the items in someone else's name, as the above poster stated. This could lead to further difficulties in getting a warranty honored.

As we have stated repeatedly in this thread, doing business with a site with this many issues is certainly not advisable, whether someone comes along and claims they had a successful transaction or not. If you cannot verify you are dealing with a legitimate company, you are risking your money.

Now, let's look at one of the OTHER sites that is clearly the work of the same people:
ameliadeal.com: Creation Date: 27-aug-2013; Expiration Date: 27-aug-2014
Now this site DOES make some further statements:
Ameliadeal.com is owned and operated by Ameliadeal inc., a privately held company based in New York State . Ameliadeal inc has been in business since 2003.After successfully serving our customers in our NY locations and expanding our customer base throughout numerous states, we have decided to launch our very own e-commerce site.

So checking the New York department for business registrations, I get this:
No business entities were found for Ameliadeal.
Please refine your search criteria.

Hmm...so a business that has been around for 10 years and supposedly has a physical location is not registered? HUGE red flag.
But we'll go further and check out the address they have listed on their site:
1185B Sunrise Hwy, Copiague, NY 11726
Let's see what whitepages.com and google maps have to say. Surprise, surprise: Number 1185 is a furniture store, and it's not called ameliadeal. It's called Funiture, and they have a real website, completely unconnected to ameliadeal. After 10 years you'd think they would have a phone number, but - what a shock - whitepages doesn't have a listing for ameliadeal either. They do for Funiture, though. So it appears the address is also bogus.

Then there are some of their other sites:
lynkmart.com - http://www.scambook.com/company/comments/131711/LynkMart
vivianmart.com - (dead) http://www.scambook.com/company/view/137948/VivianMart
coeanmart.com - (dead, not around long enough for a string of complaints)
thebestpricehere.com - http://www.ask.com/answers/412019981/ja-question?q=&o=0&l=dir&jss=0
tiffmart.com - also created July 31st, with hidden registration.
thexdeal.com - replacement for vivianmart, they forgot to change the name to match their new domain.

If you DO order from these sites and actually receive merchandise, it is not unreasonable to think that you could later find yourself the subject of an investigation for receiving goods purchased with stolen credit cards and/or phished/hacked accounts.

Given this information, there is NO way we can recommend attempting to do business with any of these sites.

If you are receiving merchandise, you are most likely receiving stolen property via stolen credit cards. This is why they can undercut all other merchants. They are just buying their items from other merchants online and sending it to your address. You are basically helping thieves operate. I'm ashamed of paypal, because they are acting as middlemen in this illegal scheme.

This my last post about Tinadeal.com and ameliamart.com , I for one don't like fraudulent sales / websites . But I order for the first time from Ameliamart.com throught PayPal and I have all receipts and items from both websites, sure my orders were not over $200.00 USA dollars but I received everything I order.
So in closing my items are new in purchase not saying that I may have to shipped them back if any problems sould or will come up. As well as to where to shipped them back if that happens. Hopefully not , but so far so good.
So maybe these items are for sale because the Buyers have an over stock and need to dispose of them intstead of losing more money. So all points in between lead to Dont give your Credit Card number out and use PayPal. Until they stop using paypay then I will consider buy from them, even tho they sem to be hiding under "Short term "web address. Caution is "ALWAYS A MUST " Have a Bless Day All .... EVEN you DOTTIE
