Hello Montenegro,

It's hard to say for sure with the information you have posted. There are a lot of scams involving selling cell phones and other electronics.

Where did you find this person? Does he have a website? How has he asked you to pay for the phone?

He didn't mention any payment method..I've asked him :

Have you got some phone around 200e ?

And he answered :

I 've got only iphone 4 16gb and blackberry 9800,that's 2 phones i can sell at that price..

I asked him to his payment info :

And he answered like this :

First Name: Scott
Last Name: Kelvin
Address: 23 Jalan Pudu,Ampang Park,Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia

I will ask him ,and i will post his reply.

Where did you find him? Does he have an ad posted somewhere? A website?

So far there are some definite concerns.

First, the way he wrote the payment information, I expect he is going to tell you he wants Western Union. Sending money to anyone other than an immediate family member or close friend by Western Union is a bad idea. The money can be picked up by virtually anyone, and is untraceable. You have absolutely no way to get your money back if the person does not honor the bargain.
Second, Scott Kelvin is a typical name that an African scammer would choose.
Third, Malaysia is base to a large and active group of Nigerian scammers, and we see many romance scams and phone scams based there.

If he tells you he wants payment by Western Union or Moneygram, there is no need to research further. Just walk away.

Sorry we are only experts in recognizing scams and helping people who are being targeted by scammers. We cannot tell you who to buy a phone from.

I can tell you if a deal sounds too good to be true it almost always is. Do your research before buying anything online. Google the company look for positive reviews or better yet buy in person.

Edit Yes the post above is positively a scam.

Yes, it has all of the ear marks of a scam. The website was created in May of this year and expires next May. He wants payment by on money transfer company that is untraceable. The person's name is most likely a previous victim or a name they have made up for this purpose.

I believe I have seen this name previously.

It is a scam. Buy from a reputable seller you know and can deal with if there are any problems.

4470 are redirect numbers only used by scammers. It will re-direct your phone call to somewhere outside the UK. No one in the UK would need one.

Non-EU citizens should go here to find out about obtaining a visa to work as an au pair in the UK

Whenever payment is requested by Western Union you're dealing with a scammer
