Hello! first of all, I want to thank you for existing!
I am Argentinian and want to go to England as an au pair.
I want to know if the website is reliable aupair-wold. I received a few emails from this site but I can not get my hopes ...
I expect a recommendation.

Welcome to scamwarners!

You have spelled the website name different ways in your post, so we can't know for certain what site you are actually referring to. Could you please check and post the website name, or better yet, post one of the emails you received, with the headers?

Many au pair websites are like classified advertising sites--they allow au pairs and families to sign up and post their information in hopes of finding a match. Unfortunately, scammers take advantage of these sites, so even when the sites are legitimate, many offers you receive will not be legitimate.

Hello lacocotera,

I'm sorry to tell you that citizens of very few countries are permitted to go to the UK as au pairs. If you look here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... 5/aupairs/

you will see that non-European au pairs need to apply for a visa through the Youth Mobility Scheme. You can see the list of countries participating in the Youth Mobility Scheme here:

http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply ... thmobility

Anyone who is not from one of those countries, will not be able to get a visa to be an au pair in the UK.
