Dearest,

We have decided to look for an au pair who will be helpful to our children and with some light housework. We are looking for an au pair to be a big sister to our children and to become another member of our family, We saw and reviewed your profile/email at http://www.easyaupair.com

We are Norwegian family working and living in England, United Kingdom, My name is Roy E.Green and I am thirty two years old, I work as an Regional Manager with an
Pharmaceutical Company herein Oxford, England (GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical). My wife Marta is twenty six years old and works as a biology teacher to a range of children in the local high school here in
Oxford.

We live in a 5 bedroom house in Oxford City and have two kid(a boy and a girl), Johan is 1.5 years old and Katrine who is four years old goes to the local primary school 5 days a week from 8:45am to 2pm and we all love the outdoors. Our Children means so much to us, we can afford to pay you GBP 1,580(One thousand five hundred and eighty pounds sterling) monthly, with a weekly allowances of 120 GBP(one hundred and twenty pounds sterling) so that you can put in your best while taking care of the kids for us. Dearest,

Thanks for your email and timely response also the genuine interest you have shown, My family was very happy after we read your mail indicating your interest to work for us.

We really see you as being part of our family and somebody who helps us out with the kids. My wife works a lot on the kids and doing the household takes a lot of time, and we decided that an au pair would help us to give our children more quality.

We Norwegian fun loving family living in Oxford, England and would enjoy it if you are a person who enjoys doing lots of stuff with the kids, colouring in, going cycling, playing outside, reading stories, etc. Our prime objective is to get our children to be happy, independent little beings and this is where we want you to help us. This would also naturally mean that sometimes you would have to help with household chores, because we also enjoy spending time with the kids.

You will be working 5 days a week, with weekends and evenings off. If we want you to look after the kids in the evenings or weekends, we will obviously discuss it with you in advance and with your consent. You will then either get time off later, or be paid for the hours you have worked over time.

Katrine is a friendly little girl, who loves to play with her friends, but can also play alone really nicely. She is a bit shy and checks things out before she participates. Very caring and easy to get along with. She loves singing and dancing and is more artistic I would say. She enjoys being read to and relationship oriented

Johan is very much like Katrine. A friendly little boy. Usually happy with himself and with life as such. He speaks very little, but can make very clear what he wants. He loves toy cars and animals The children are all well behaved and easy to get along with. Obviously they can also throw their tantrums, but I must honestly say that happens very seldom. If they are told to do something, 95% of the times they will do it.

We have dog, also we have squirrels, birds and dear eating in our garden, so if you are someone who loves nature it is almost like paradise.

We will need you to help us with these;

* Help getting children ready for school.

* driving kids to and from school/activities if you can drive or probably we can provide a driver.

* cooking simple meals for them.

* tidying their rooms, putting toys away.

* playing with them

* Take the kids to School in the morning and bring them back in the noon.

The duties I think are well spelt out and simple. You will be entitled to a basic salary of GBP 1,580(One thousand five hundred and eighty pounds sterling)a month with a weekly allowances of 120 GBP(one hundred and twenty pounds sterling) and fully furnish bedroom in the family building with a desktop Intel Pentium IV Computer and Internet Access to enable you communicate with your people.

Actually you will go into contract with my family as an our new au pair, We are willing to incur the expenses of your flight, entrance/visa deduct 0.05% of it every month from your salary until full dept is paid, but it must be on a mutual agreement that your name must be Sworn an Affidavit of Guarantee at the British county Court before the commencement on your visa endorsement/approval at the UK Home Office, as this is due to our bad experience in inviting an au pair, after we secured her entrance to UK, she arrived and never showed up again neglecting our job, so we were advised by the employment experts to follow up with this policy of Sworn Affidavit Guarantee from the British county Court for legal and security purposes.

The Sworn Affidavit of Guarantee is a written form of evidence used in court proceedings. The affidavit sets out the facts as you remember them. In legal matters, the evidence wanted for court to hear about your matter must be in a Sworn Affidavit of Guarantee, Your statutory declaration/statement of fact to abide in this contract will be made as your name is being sworn also you will incur the expenses of that at the county Court.

I know you might find other families that might pay a bit more than I do, but I honestly believe you will not find another family who will look after you as well as we do and make you feel at home.

Upon your acceptance of the above terms, Please write back so that we will prepare the Contract of Agreement, The Contract letter will be binding this job and also I will give you directives on the procurement of the Affidavit of guarantee by referring you to our family attorney. When they are sorted out, you can then come here to resume your employment.

We are excited to see you join us soon.

Warm regards,
Roy Green
For the Family.

13 DISCIPLINARY AND DISMISSAL PROCEDURE

The following procedure should be followed if you are to be disciplined or dismissed. Matters which may be dealt with under this disciplinary and dismissal procedure include discipline and dismissal for the following reasons:

• misconduct

• sub-standard performance

• poor timekeeping or unauthorised absences

• failure to follow instructions

Minor cases of misconduct and most cases of poor performance may be dealt with by an informal oral warning, which does not count as part of the formal (or statutory) disciplinary procedure. No formal record of this type of warning will be kept.

If there is no improvement or the matter is serious enough, you will be invited to a disciplinary meeting at which the matter can be properly discussed. You will be allowed to bring a friend or relative to the meeting. The outcome of the meeting will be communicated to you. There are the following possible outcomes:

Oral warning
In the case of minor infringements you may be given a formal oral warning. A note of the oral warning will be kept on your file but will be disregarded for disciplinary purposes after six
months. You have the right to appeal against a formal oral warning.

Written warning
If the infringement is more serious or there is no improvement in conduct after a formal oral warning you will be given a formal written warning giving details of the complaint, the improvement or change in behaviour required, the timescale allowed for this, the right of appeal and the fact that a final written warning may be given if there is no satisfactory improvement or change. A copy of the written warning will be kept on file but will be disregarded for disciplinary
purposes after 11 months.

Final written warning

Where there is a failure to improve or change behaviour during the currency of a prior formal written warning, or where the infringement is sufficiently serious, you may be given a final written warning. This will give details of the complaint, warn that failure to improve will lead to dismissal and refer to the right of appeal. The final written warning will be kept on file but will normally be disregarded for disciplinary purposes after 11 months.

Dismissal

If your conduct or performance still fails to improve the final step will be to contemplate dismissal. If the Employer is contemplating dismissing you the "Standard Disciplinary and Dismissal Procedure" must be followed which is a statutory requirement.

Gross misconduct

If, after investigation, it is confirmed that you have committed one of the following offences, you will normally be dismissed:

• physical violence

• alcohol or drug abuse during working hours

• deliberate damage to property

• serious infringement of health and safety regulations

• serious insubordination

• theft and /or fraud

• negligence which causes serious consequences for the [Children] or the Employer

• communicating confidential information

While the alleged gross misconduct is being investigated, you may be suspended, during which time you will be paid. Any decision to dismiss will be taken by the Employer only after a full investigation. The Standard Disciplinary and Dismissal Procedure applies to dismissals for gross misconduct.

Modified Dismissal Procedure

In a few cases of gross misconduct the Employer may be justified in dismissing you immediately without conducting an investigation. In these cases a two-step "Modified Dismissal Procedure" will be followed:

Step 1: Written statement

The Employer must write to you setting out what you have done, or failed to do that resulted in dismissal. You must also be told that you have the right of appeal against this dismissal.

Step 2: Appeal

If you wish to appeal you must inform the Employer within 5 working days. The Employer will then arrange a meeting to hear the appeal within 7 working days. Following the appeal meeting the Employer must inform you of the decision, making clear that it is final.

TERMINATION OF CONTRACT AGREEMENT:

This Agreement may be terminated: -

1. If the employee did not meet up with the acquisition of his/her Affidavit of Guarantee within a specific period of time.

2. If the services stated therein are not rendered satisfactorily.

3. If the duration of the Agreement stated therein expires and no extension has been given.
