Scams offering fake Au Pair positions
by Chris Fuller Wed Feb 16, 2011 4:52 am
This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam. The scammer, through his fake government department, will request money for a visa, work permit, or other 'necessary travel/employment documents'. This money will then be stolen from you. The scammer will not obtain any documents for anyone; and does not really have an au pair position to offer.

If you are looking for an au pair job in the UK, please contact the British Embassy in your own country to check UK entry requirements. You can find the genuine British Embassy website by Google searching 'British Embassy' and the name of your country. Note that a genuine British Embassy email address will always end with @fco.gov.uk (and with no words or abbreviations after that).

Do not send money to any agency, embassy, lawyer, or other person introduced to you by a potential employer. If you wish to consult the UK Border Agency, do not use an email address or website address given to you by your potential employer, but go to the genuine website here:

We are Brian ’s family from The United State of America, We are a nice and fun loving family but we are currently based in London in England,UK.

I work as a AutoCAD Designer for Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor an England based Company. My wife Anita also works with the same company as an Administrative Assistant. We were posted on contract to UK where we currently reside but we would be returning back to the US after our the expiration of our contract.

Our busy schedule prompted us to seek the assistance of an aupair. We searched for potential nannies on aupair site and we found your profile and liked it.

Your basic duties would be to take care of our kid. We have a maid who would undertake of housework hence your basic responsibility is with our kids Henry and Serena.

We would be offering a salary of 1800 GBP which would be paid to you at the end of every month and a weekly pocket money of 200 GBP. We know the amount is high but we are paid well by our company and we want the best for our kids.

You would have a furnished accommodation with Television Set, Internet Ready Laptop, Fixed Landline telephone and a car for your use.

On the issue of travel documents, we would take care of your traveling cost. In saying this we would be paying for your flight tickets and visa procurement charges but it has to be process here by UK Immigration and Visa Services. This is a reputable UK government body in charge of immigration matters.

It was recommended by a friend after we've complained of being scammed on three occassion while trying to get a nanny. You can write to them at {[email protected]} for further information.

Indicate your interest by sending us your picture, phone number and some character references for us to evaluate and consider you for the position.

Let us hear from you so that we can discuss more on the offer. You can contact me on this same email portal or via our facebook account- [email protected].

Best regards
Brian Kile
