Unfortunately, I have had some conversations via pm with the other users asking about him, and I have no doubt that Raly Peranio is indeed a scammer.
The other user was not able to get full headers from her email provider. Could you post the full headers from the email you received?

Hello leeloo, and welcome to ScamWarners.

If 'Raly Peranio' is personally advertising for an au pair, then he is undoubtedly a scammer. You can discover this by researching the real requirements for taking employment in the US.

Firstly, if you are looking for any job in the USA, please directly contact the US Embassy in your own country to check the US entry requirements. You can find the genuine US Embassy website here:

http://www.usembassy.gov/

I understand that the US Goverment has strict restrictions upon who can run Au Pair programmes legally in the USA. You will also need a J-1 visa.

You can read more about J-1 visas here:

http://www.visabureau.com/america/j1-visa.aspx

and here:

US Citizenship and Immigration Services

Some scammers will offer you a J-1 visa. But nobody can obtain a visa for you - you need to obtain it yourself. Never send money to any agency, lawyer, or other person introduced to you by a potential employer. Always make a visa application through the genuine US Embassy in your own country, contacting them through their genuine website, above.

Welcome jasmine!
I'm glad you are safe.
Sorry, we do not have a chat room. If you want to contact other members here you can use the PM (=privat message) button; these messages are really "private", no-one can read them here or find them with Google. But most of the members don't check here once their problem has been discussed. So please don't be disappointed if you don't get a lot of answers.
