Thanks for your email and interest in renting from me, My house like i have said is still available for rent, For immediate move in you would be required to make total payment of $1,600. But if you are not moving in Immediately you would be required to make a down payment of $800 for the security deposit Non- negotiable to hold property till desired move in date and rent already include utilities.(Electricity, Gas,Water and Trash)

If really you are interested in renting from me you would be paying the security deposit first, which is also refundable to enable me make shipment of the entrance keys and documents needed for move in.If it ok by you then we can proceed with you Signing Lease and make the balance of the month rent before moving in as my new tenant.

My family and I left the property in a very perfect condition So if you really want to work with me here despite my absence, Attached to this email is the rent application form fill correctly ,sign and Email it back to me asap, so that my Wife and I could take proper look at your form to know the exact person we are dealing with here i hope you understand me? Meanwhile you have to promise us that you are going to take good and proper care of our property as if it was your own. till when we get back to the state.

Once I get the complete filled form and is accepted by us I will Email you information on how to make payment for the security deposit first to us, to enable me secure the house in your name and to make shipment of keys and entrance documents needed for move in through the Registered DHL courier service express delivery to the address indicated while filling out the rent application form.

Meanwhile your money is refundable if you do not like the place. the money is not really an issue all what we need here is someone who can take good care of the house as if it was its own i hope you understand me?

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or MoneyGram with a promise that you can have the keys to the property.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

Please be advised that I posted an ad on Craigslist. It was a valid and legitimate ad. The ad was subsequently copied and the dollar amounts changed and contact information changed. It was a scam being run out of Nigeria. I contacted Craigslist and had the bogus ad taken down and notified rocketmail to have the email account deactivated.

I have removed your email address as we want you (and others) to stay safe. Scammers and spammers do visit us from time to time looking for email addresses to harvest.

I notice that you have asked for the email address to be deactivated. We don't encourage that as the scammer simply opens another one. If we let them keep a live email address, then they can be found by people using a search engine, just as you have done. If his email is closed and he opens another, he will be off the radar until someone lists him again. That person may well be a paying victim who did not realise they were dealing with a scammer as nothing came up in the search results.
