So I check out the web site and it looks very legitimate! I was almost considering giving this guy my info. I checked out the application and it looked legit as well. I figured if they were going to try and steal my I.D. then they would want my Social Security Number, but he never asked for it. I found out it was a scam when I googled the duties of the job.

Duties:
Company assigns Contractor to perform the following tasks:
1. Receive the correspondence for our customer to your residential address.
2. Report to our manager about new package.
3. Repack received items following the instructions our manager will send to you.
4. Receive prepaid shipping labels.
5. Fill the forms and papers according to our manager’s instructions.
6. Send the package out using the specified shipping method.

Thankfully there was a link to this website scamwarners. After reading someone else's post, I came to figure out that they ship you stolen goods. Sorry for the long post, but I just want to make sure no one false for this.

Well done Typroc on posting the story. Yes indeed it certainly looks fake because the company was registered in June of this year and the registration expires in June 2012.
From what I can see from south eastern China.

Thanks for the info! May I ask how you found that info so that I may be able to use it in the future?

Hi Typroc,

you can do this research, too:

http://whois.domaintools.com/

Just insert the website's name, and up come the registration details.

By the way, the scammer's main goal is to send you counterfeit cheques to cash and use Western Union to transfer to him - say - 80% of the amount, "allowing" you to keep the rest as salary.

By the time your bank finds out and sends the police after you, your money is long gone.

Hey Scamwarners,
I wish I had found you before I started this job, but this post did not show up till I was already in trouble. I fell for this scam, reshipped 2 items, and then was unable to contact the company at all. So people don't fall for this again this is what the job really was.

I was emailed this after finding their post on craiglist:

I notified “Dominic” that I received the package and was sent the following email:

Dear Maxwell,

You have received package with Invoice #: CT177400, attn. Amy Farnsworth.

Now you need to send this package to the final customer, find all shipping attached to this e-mail.

1. Please unpack the parcel and inspect content for visible damages;

2. Print files that is attached to this letter (Prepaid shipping label);

3. Take package with all printed documents to the nearest USPS office, and give the goods and printed label;

4. Report to me about a successful operation.

Original (shippers) invoices should be scanned and forwarded to us (via e-mail or fax). After that, they should be destroyed (since they contain confidental information).

P.S. Very important to make sure that they scanned the package and get a copy of label with their stamp or sales receipt. This will be proof of sending package for our client.

I followed instructions and scanned the packing slip and receipt, but I did not destroy the original shippers invoices.

So, now that i'm SOL, What can I do to get back at the scammers? I've submitted an abuse report to http://privacyprotect.org/ to try to get the Registrant Contact. I've sent a report to Public Domain Registry and IC3. I've even contacted "Dominic Paszkeicz" on facebook (without any response from him) What other options do I have?
