Can you please tell me what the scam is on this person? Do they ask for money? I have been emailing them and also spoke with them on the phone which is a Ukrainian phone number! Any information will be helpful!

Thanks Mark

Hi Mark,

I'm not sure of the specifics in this case (I'm sure the Enchantress will know more), but you will eventually be asked for money. If the details posted here are the same ones you have been given, then it's certainly a scam. Sometimes you have to talk to them for months until they think you are in deep enough to believe their lies and send money.

Different scammers use different methods, so a huge number of reasons could be given for you to send money to them. They will probably revolve around her wanting to come and see you and there being some problem. It could be customs fees, flights costs, a lost passport, or she could be knocked down on the way to the airport and need hospital fees.

The Ukrainian phone number fits with the Ukrainian IP address, but unfortunately it doesn't help us prove it's a scam as it's the same location as she has stated on her profile.

If you are still unsure that you are speaking to scammer, then please ask more questions. We'll do our best to find any proof you need. Whilst we do that, please stay vigilant and don't send any money or bank details to her.
It would be best if you stopped all contact with her, but if she's persistent, you can email telling her you've found love elsewhere.

Hi Mark

Dan is completely right, the best thing to do here woudl be to stop communication while we look into this.

Could you please send us any of the emails you have received with your own details removed, of course, if the emails you received are identical to the one posted above then you will alread have your proof that its a scammer.
