Information on romance scams and scammers.

Last week, I received an e-mail from someone called Rose, but luckily I saw through her scam. It was obvious that it was a scam because nobody would give out details of a bank that held a vast amount of money lying in it but I did question Rose on the integrity of her intentions and told me she was on the level. :? I decided to go along with this request just to see what happens. I received an e-mail from this bank and it does appear that there is a vast amount of money lying in it. She kept begging me to help her but I told her that I can't because of the amount of money involved. I may be a bit slow on the uptake sometimes but I know a scam when I see one.

Could you post the email address the scammer was using, and also post the email from the "bank" (with the headers)? The bank account information will be faked.

These scammers often create fake bank forms/statements and even websites to make their scams look more real, and it will help others who are not familiar with these scams to avoid them (and if the scammer has set up a fake bank website, we can try to get it taken down too).
